Hideaway Island Resort
Overview
Hideaway Island Resort and Marine Sanctuary is a small coral atoll that's about as close as you'll get to a Robinson Crusoe island escape in the South Pacific. Power is generated around the clock on the island, water is fed from the top of the pristine Cascade waterfalls and, outside of the office, there are no phones or faxes.
Accommodation
Accommodation on Hideaway Island has been built in an ecologically friendly manner; situated amongst the original tropical trees & foliage. The accommodation ranges from a luxurious 2 Bedroom Villa with a private swimming pool, 2 bedrooms both with ensuites, fully equipped kitchen & spacious living & dining area, 10 x low bank One Bedroom Bungalows, 2 x Semi-attached One Bedroom Bungalows and 6 x Twin-share Beach Units & Quad-Share rooms with shared facilities.
Activities
Constant action or complete relaxation are both options for your holiday at Hideaway Island. The island is surrounded by Coral reefs teaming with endless varieties of tame fish, ideal for snorkelling or scuba diving right from the shore. Alternatively, experience the beauty of the marine sanctuary from the resort’s glass bottom boat, circumnavigate the island on an ocean kayak or sail the tropical breezes onboard the resort’s Maricat.
For the more adventurous, bring your own gear and experience kite surfing at one of Vanuatu’s most popular spots. Alternatively, guests can try beach volleyball & petanque, or use the resort as a base for a myriad of other tours and activities such as game or reef fishing, visiting the Cascade Waterfalls, Village Walks or having a round of golf.
Resort amenities on the island include a fresh water swimming pool, games room with cable television and free DVD movies, free use of all non-motorized water sports equipment, restaurant/bar, beach volleyball, the Underwater Post Office & Tour Desk.

It also makes for great variety, with the blackboard menu changing daily depending on the produce available.
