Overview
Taveuni Island Resort is a small exclusive luxury resort catering to just 14 couples. Located on the island of Taveuni (known as the Garden Island of Fiji) the resort is set amongst 10 acres of lush tropical gardens and overlooks the azure waters of Fiji's dramatic Somosomo Straits.
Taveuni Island Resort has recently completed a superb $3 million extension and refurbishment project, securing its position as one of Fiji's top luxury boutique resorts.
Accommodation
1 Luxury Ocean View Villa, 10 Luxury Ocean View Bures & 1 Luxury Oceanview Duplex (2 suites) accommodate up to 14 couples in unsurpassed luxury. Each individual romantic bure has a spectacular view overlooking the South Pacific and nearby islands of Fiji. All bures are suitable for honeymoons or couples celebrating a romantic interlude or anniversary as they exude privacy and romance.
Taveuni's premier private villa “Matalau” features two large private ensuite bedrooms with king beds, a spacious hexagonal lounge with floor to ceiling glass windows, an inviting plunge pool and a private path down the cliff to a beautiful secluded white sand bay. Guests are pampered by their own chef, waiter/waitress and housemaid.
Activities
In this verdant paradise, guests can discover the attractions of Taveuni's cascading waterfalls, rare birds and hidden lakes, in one of the world's completely undisturbed habitats. Transfers
A scenic domestic flight takes 90 minutes. There are six to seven flights daily to this remote island. There are also direct flights from Suva, the capitol of Fiji, which is a 60 min. flight. Taveuni Island Resort is located only a short 2 minute drive from the airport.
