Viwa Island Resort

Overview
Incorporated in the beautiful Yasawa Islands and approximately 48 nautical miles northwest of Denarau, Viwa Island Resort is a beautiful, small, affordable boutique resort catering for adults only. With only 11 Deluxe Beachfront Bures, a stay at Viwa will be intimate and memorable. The island is surrounded by a blossoming rich colourful coral reef that is abundant with a variety of aquatic life, thus making it a fantastic place for diving, fishing, snorkelling and other water sports. It has a beautiful white sandy beach and pristine, crystal clear turquoise water.

Accommodation
Viwa Island Resort has 11 beachfront bures each with air conditioning & ceiling fans. There are eight Deluxe Beachfront Bures and three Deluxe Two Bedroom Beachfront Bures. They are all traditional Fijian style bures with thatched roofs and high vaulted ceilings. All bures are beachfront, free-standing, very spacious and beautifully appointed. They have tea/coffee making facilities, coffee plunger, refrigerator, hairdryer, in room safe, iron and ironing board, clock, plus a comfortable lounge area with a 2 seater sofa, single chair and coffee table giving plenty of area to relax in. All bures have a large covered balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean with a sun lounge.

Activities
Land Activities include Cultural Village Trips, Weaving Demonstration (Baskets/Hats), Sulu Tying Lessons, Coconut Husking Demonstration, Table Tennis, Beach Games & Around the Island Adventure.

Complimentary Water Sports include snorkelling, handline fishing, offshore snorkelling & kayaking. Sports/Game Fishing, Diving and Snorkelling Safaris are also available for an additional cost.

The resort offers various themed nights & nightly music with the Island's String Band.

Transfers
Enjoy a leisurely two hour cruise on the Yasawa Flyer, a fast luxury catamaran which can accommodate 267 passengers. Travel as far as Waya Island (Octopus Resort) and then join Viwa’s brand new luxury cruiser for a further 30 minute transfer to Viwa Island Resort.
